stuff and akron pride!

akron pride was this weekend! another year of herding furries to walk in the parade, which has actually been pretty fun lol - i really only dread the having to get up early part, tbh. we had 35 people marching this year! i didn't get a headcount last year (only got one this year b/c of the drone video), but i think it was around 20~




after the parade, tony and i browsed around. he bought a shirt and we ended up buying patches from a very cool artist i hadn't seen before at any events and they took our photo to put on their insta stories, so i was able to snatch that b/c it was cute lol

also saw my favorite celebrity, the SRA opossum



we also stopped in to curated storefront to check out clayton bailey's world of wonders - it was EXTREMELY quirky and fun. i hadn't heard of the artist before, and was surprised to learn he was making this stuff in the 60's and 70's. i always kind of assume these sort of pop-up art exhibits are by younger artists for some reason lol





all in all, a good day. we bought some thc cookies and a blunt from a local family-owned shop (it is still SO wild that you can just....buy pot nearly anywhere now?? like....in the middle of a whole-ass festival???? i remember when my mom would tell me not to use certain words for items in the head shop b/c they wouldn't sell to you then). i'm still pretty lightweight when it comes to anything weed-related, so i only had a quarter of the cookie i got (107mg), but it gave me a really nice and quick high - we got pizza and immediately took a nap lol, but then the rest of the evening just kind of laid around in bed lol
