i’m steeped in verse and cursed in vice

Submitted a bunch of stuff today for a position at the main library I'm super interested in (TechZone), so crossing my fingers for that. Even an interview would be nice! It's closer to home (half the walk time!) and, since it's at main, I can get my fingers into more departments and learn more stuff since I don't have the $$$ to go back to school to even start on my library science degree. But experience counts for a lot, imo, and even without a degree, having lots of library skills/knowledge means I can generally keep/secure a public/customer service position within libraries which is a pretty big foot up.

But I do like the branch I'm at currently and it'd be nicer if it were a bit closer, so it will be a little sad to leave if that does happen.

It's supposed to be 60F-something tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that. Same with Monday but, y'know, I gotta work. Though I'll probably get out a bit early because I have the Geekfest committee meeting and I gotta bus up to that and it's usually wrapped up before 5PM, so fingers crossed.

I wanted to submit all the intake paperwork for the therapist today, but I have no idea where my Medicaid card is, so I guess I'll have to rummage around for that at home. But I did finally get in all the stuff for our PIPP re-verification, so hopefully that'll be one less thing to worry about. Because goddamn if this wage garnishment isn't a royal pain in the ass each paycheck. I can pay all my shit, but then I'm left with under $100 to last two weeks for food, pet stuff, or whatever else might come up. I can usually get a little extra cash on the side with commissions, but I don't want to overload myself and there's stuff I need to finish in my queue as is.
