alleyman's tarot - day nine - the world

04/09
time-ish: like 11pm lol

[The World] ⇩

Things move. that’s what they do. the world shifts and turns and changes. if death is change in our lives, the world is the greater cycle of us all moving. that’s why it’s the world, and not a dorky anthro-concept in a robe.

this is the knowledge that your life, your relationships, your opportunities, come to close and begin anew. it is the full cycle of the entire wheel. when we say ‘the wheel turns’ to explain how things come and go, this is what we mean.

it’s not necessarily about endings, but it is often about beginnings. watch for the new turns of the wheel, of the world. Often this card has connotations of success of victory, coming to fulfillment and achieving your goals.

in reverse, the world is stopped. slowed. delayed. plans fall apart. completion seems every out of reach. things begin to stagnate, grow old (or mold). you need to get things in motion again, if you even can.

end of the day thoughts
i was thinking about flipping this horizontally (would've been upright), but i flipped it vertically like i've been doing and got it inverted. dunno what that says lol. hesitation, maybe?

i think these cards about big changes and stuff like that are referring to a potential job upheaval (not bad, but a Big Change) and i think i'm gonna take this one as the big picture moreso than just the inversion (tho i do keep both in mind regardless of how i pull the card - don't have to abide by the inverted reading if you don't want, but it's goot to be mindful of it).

i did dream about trying to move back into the place in kent and it did feel stagnant - a lot of problems that were out of my hands/finances/skill/wheelhouse to fix
