oh, mama raised me well

july wasn't super eventful, but we did have a handful of nice storms!

we have been hella busy at work today x_x spent the morning starting to hang up these big seven foot tall vinyl sticker banners on the pillars, to denote the areas the computers are in (and to try to deter adults from hanging out in the teen section, which arguably DOES have the best seating in the branch). the teen one went up PERFECTLY, no bubbles, no blemishes

the children's one......was a nightmare. it didn't want to sit evenly at the top and we had to remove it twice to readjust, which warped the vinyl in the middle a bit and we couldn't get it to lay nicely after fighting with it for almost an hour. so we're gonna get it reprinted and try again

we've also been busy most of the day - a lot of patrons needing small stuff, but also a decent number of reference questions and digging around for things b/c sometime putting in 'thing i'm looking for' into google doesn't give you that in any capacity

definitely looking forward to having the weekend off, that's for sure. thinking about going into kent tomorrow morning maybe??? idk i want to go to the farmer's market and i want to put up some zines around town and i miss kent ;_; but i know we also need to run errands at some point and we have pathfinder sunday afternoon, so time is tight
